Opening Ceremony

July 26

Kicked off Canada Pride in the heart of our beloved Davie village! Hosted by the legendary Jaylene Tyme and featured heartfelt remarks honouring Indigiqueer and 2Spirit peoples. Traditional teachings by Desiree Niss Miou Tgac and Larissa Healy with inspiring words Jessy Dame, Martin Morberg & Jordy Ironstar.

Mesmerizing drag performances from Canada's Drag Race's Ilona Verley, and Beth, Continental Breakfast, Xanas Revenge, Theo Rhetical and a powerful show by Virago Nation closed out the magical night

VanPrideFest

August 3 & 4

Get ready for the return of VanPrideFest — the ultimate celebration of community connections! On August 3rd and 4th, join us for a FREE two-day outdoor festival you won't want to miss out on!

Day one is set to be the most spectacular drag extravaganza Vancouver has ever seen! With local favorites, global drag stars, and a surprise takeover by Quill Collective, the TD Main Stage will be alive with Canada’s Drag Race royalty, Season 4 winner Venus, and other winners and alumni.

Day two promises a musical spectacle, where festivalgoers can dance the night away. Headliner Rêve will be joined by LU KALA, Witch Prophet, NADUH, and BoiBnd, ensuring an unforgettable experience. You can also look forward to performances by local artists Toddy and Lola Lovegood.

Parade

August 4

Vancouver Pride takes on the Canada Pride Parade with over 100,000 attendees is back on Pride Weekend. Led by our Host Nations, join us with local community groups, non-profit organizations, businesses and more all showcasing their support for the 2SLGBTQAI+ communities.

With 4 accessible viewing zones available, witness our community taking the streets of the city as colorful floats, lively marching bands and community partner groups transform Vancouver into a beautiful display of love, music and art.

The Bubly Davie Street Lounge is BACK and will be hosting a series of dynamic events from July 26 to August 4, kicking off with the unforgettable opening ceremony led by local Indigenous icon Jaylene Tyme. This venue is going to be transformed into a hub of queer creativity and expression within our community. Programming includes takeovers by Babes on Babes, Latincouver, WhiskeyJacks, Francoqueers, the West End Seniors Network and performances by local icons Virago Nation, Juicy Gems, House of Lola and VNDS ‘24 winner, Androgynass!

It’s the return of Pride to the iconic Granville Island! This season, Granville Island will be transformed into a Queer haven as Canada Pride takes over with a laid-back lounge featuring takeovers by Gateo, Fruit Forward, Vancouver Gaymers, Hot Fruit Figure Drawing & fanny kearse’s soul stories.

Join us for the variety of events from August 1 to August 4, culminating in the Canada Pride Closing Party, “LAST DANCE”.

QUEER RIGHTS SUMMIT

August 1 - 3, 2024

Vancouver Pride takes a historic step with its inaugural Queer Rights Summit, addressing the urgent challenges confronting the Queer community, here in Canada and globally.

This is a staple of the Canada Pride celebration, where leading voices of our community will share their knowledge and open the floor for attendees to exchange ideas. In these critical times, this conference holds heightened significance, providing a platform for essential discussions and advocacy.
